Globalization, digitization, and especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) are driven by uncompromising efficiency-mindedness. People feel they are being left behind. Driven by information and biotechnology, unimaginable promises of salvation are proclaimed to improve our lives. But there are also unknown dangers lurking for the future. In what kind of future do we want to live? In total surveillance, where corporations or politicians have access to our thoughts and feelings? Or in a new code of values that ensures machines serve people, not an elite of data corporations?
